How MGL Africa handles your information on this website, the online store and the MGL Africa app.
Last updated: 13 October 2026
MGL Africa (Masha Global Link Co. Ltd) imports goods from China to Tanzania and sells goods held in Tanzania. This policy covers mglafrica.com, store.mglafrica.com and the MGL Africa app.
Your name, phone number, email address (if you give one), WhatsApp number and delivery addresses. Your orders, the products in them, payments and receipts, quotations and invoices, and the tracking of your goods. Reviews and messages you send us. Basic technical information needed to keep you signed in (a sign-in token on your phone). The app does not use your location, camera, contacts or microphone.
To create your account and sign you in, take and deliver your orders, buy your goods from suppliers, ship and clear them, receive your payments and give you receipts and invoices, send you order updates by SMS, WhatsApp or email, and answer your questions. We also keep sales and payment records because Tanzanian tax law requires it.
Payments are made by mobile money, bank transfer or a payment provider. We record the amount, the method and the transaction reference. We never see or store your card number or mobile money PIN.
Only what each one needs: payment providers to take your payment, SMS and WhatsApp providers to send you updates, our suppliers, shipping and clearing agents and couriers to buy, move and deliver your goods, and government authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell your information.
Your account information is kept while you have an account. When you delete it, your name, phone, email and addresses are removed. Orders, invoices and payments are kept without your personal details for as long as Tanzanian tax law requires.
You can see and correct your details in the app or the store (Account), turn off SMS, WhatsApp or email updates, and delete your account at any time. You can also ask us what we hold about you.
Questions about your information: use the Contact page, or the phone number and address shown at the bottom of every page.
